Real Estate Sales Associate Pre-License

Basic vs. Full Service

There are two choices for tuition. The Basic tuition ($325) includes the course only. The Full Service tuition ($425) includes the course, a course textbook, 1001 Question and Answer review, live super exam cram review at any Gold Coast location, and access to our exclusive online prep program designed to fully prepare you for the state exam. Basic tuition is recommended for those students who have an interest in real estate courses, or are not sure if they want to continue to the state exam. Full service is recommended for those who want to complete the state exam and become licensed as quickly as possible.

Refunds

Once a student purchases this course, no refunds or credits will be given. The student has one (1) year to complete the course.

Other Materials

This is a self contained online course. No textbook or other materials are required to complete this course. Gold Coast provides full service students with a course textbook, and 1001 Question and Answer book to be used in preparing for the state exam. Textbooks and supplementary materials will be sent to full service students within 7 days of registration. These are included in your course tuition, however additional charges for shipping may apply when shipping materials outside of the Continental United States. Students desiring additional materials such as audio cd’s, flashcards, or math books may order from www.goldcoastschools.com, or by calling the Gold Coast office at 800-732-9140.

Modules

Each of the modules and review quizzes must be completed before the final exam will be unlocked. Modules will show “In Progress” or “Completed.” Once all modules are marked as “Completed” the final exam will be available.

Final Exams

The only portion of the course that is timed is the end of course examination. Once started, the student will have three hours to complete the exam. Passing score is 70%. THE STUDENT MUST COMPLETE THE EXAM IN ONE SESSION. Students will not be allowed to complete the exam in segments.

Students who do not pass the end of course examination must wait at least 30 days (but not more than one year) to retake the end of course exam. Students failing the end of course exam a second time will be required to pay for, and complete the entire course again.

Classroom vs. Online Courses

Students who register for the online course will not be eligible to review classroom based courses. However, students who wish to transfer to the classroom course will be able to do so upon paying a $50 transfer and materials fee plus the difference between the classroom and online tuition. All transfers must be approved by the school Administrator or Director.

Classroom and online courses are different courses. Time spent in each cannot be transferred or interchanged.

Students must recognize that distance learning requires a great amount of motivation and dedication. In many cases students will find that distance learning is a more difficult method of study as compared to classroom based education.

Students enrolling in the Full Service online course will be eligible to take a Gold Coast classroom Super Exam Cram Weekend Review class prior to taking the state exam. Please contact Gold Coast staff at 800-732-9140 to register.
